My stay at Irooms Forum & Colosseum in Rome had its highs and lows. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the city. However, I faced several issues with room cleanliness and the initial check-in experience, leaving me feeling disappointed. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room did not meet my expectations, particularly regarding the amenities I was promised. Overall, while the charm of the place was evident, improvements are definitely needed.

Rooms

The initial room was dark and cold, located in a courtyard with limited privacy. I was promised a jacuzzi bath, but the water was barely warm and the shower had inconsistent pressure. I was moved to a cleaner room later, but it lacked proper setup for privacy.
Service
6.0
The staff were welcoming and provided useful tips for navigating the city. However, breakfast service was delayed, which was a disappointment during my stay.
Location
8.0
The location is excellent, just a short stroll to major attractions like the Colosseum. Being in a residential area added to the charm, but access to the hotel from the street was confusing due to unmarked entrances.
Dining

Breakfast had a good selection, but I missed having coffee in my room to kickstart my mornings. Ambrose, who managed breakfast, did make great espresso, which was a plus.
Facilities

The hotel features creative room designs with unique themes, but lacking basic amenities like air conditioning made my stay uncomfortable during warmer days. The kitchen area is modern and nicely maintained.

My stay at iRooms Forum & Colosseum was enjoyable with an excellent location, just a short walk to major attractions like the Colosseum. The iRooms concept was quirky and unique, making it feel less like a traditional hotel. On the downside, I found the air conditioning pretty loud and not super effective, which made it tough to get comfortable at times.
